Chrome extension

Cartoru on every listing you browse

See if a used-car listing is a good deal, then start Autopilot. Controlled beta — verify rare trims. It uses the same comps engine as cartoru.com, then lets you start Autopilot without leaving CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader, CarMax, or Craigslist.

How it works

1. Open a listing

Visit a used-car listing on CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader, CarMax, and Craigslist. The extension detects the page and starts the same analysis this website uses.

2. See the deal on the page

An overlay shows fair-value context from live comps so you know if the ask is high, fair, or worth pursuing — without copying the URL into Cartoru.

3. Start Autopilot

From the overlay you can open a full analysis or hand the listing to Autopilot, which texts the dealer and negotiates from those comps.

Supported listing sites

The overlay runs on listing pages at:

  • CarGurus
  • Cars.com
  • AutoTrader
  • CarMax
  • Craigslist

Sign-in stays in sync

Sign in on cartoru.com with Google or a magic link — the same account you use here. Your session syncs to the extension so saved analyses and Autopilot are available from the overlay.

What it can see

The extension reads the listing page you have open on those sites so it can extract year, price, mileage, and trim. It does not read your full browsing history. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Exotic, luxury, and rare-trim listings need extra verification; dollar figures can be wrong when comps are thin or trim matching was relaxed.
